According to the plans, the plantation in Lajosmiz will be open every Friday and Saturday until Christmas. Éva Kisjuhász and her husband, András Szőrös, have been growing plants near Lajosmizse for twenty-seven years, and currently they own the only lemon farm in Hungary.
In 2010, they started planting the now flourishing lemon plantation, the family business produces lemons under foil tents in the only way in Hungary.
According to their information, this year's pick-your-own lemon harvest starts on November 8-9, and then they will be open every Friday and Saturday until Christmas.
You will need to register for collection, but you can also order a package from the first week of November
they announced on their Facebook page.
Lajosmizsa lemons are juicy, pleasantly sour and tasty, and are produced under biological plant protection. The harvested fruit is not treated either, so the peel can be eaten and grated.
Stored in the bottom drawer of the refrigerator for a month for sure, but it can be kept longer, the shell may dry out
- they wrote in a previous post.
The owners of the lemon farm also informed the interested parties that they had a big surprise recently, as chicks hatched in the lemon bush. The ducks, on the other hand, did not live up to the expectations placed on them, they behave badly, they do not eat the right plant.
