UEFA implemented its suspended sanction in July, according to which tickets for the upcoming away match of the national team are not allowed to be sold in the away sector.
There can be no Hungarian fans at the Nations League football match at the home of the Dutch.
According to the announcement of the Hungarian Football Confederation (MLSZ) on Tuesday, the European Confederation (UEFA) has closed its disciplinary proceedings, which it initiated due to the racist expressions of Hungarian fans in Bosnia-Herzegovina. The audio and video recordings clearly proved that hundreds of Hungarian fans were chanting anti-Serbian and anti-Romanian hate rhymes, which is why UEFA implemented its suspended sanction in July, according to which ticket sales for the upcoming away match of the national team were not allowed in the away sector.
In addition to implementing the previous decision, due to the behavior of the Hungarian fans, it is not possible to sell tickets for another away match in the away section, but this penalty was suspended by UEFA for two years.
In addition to the above, the disciplinary decision includes a fine of 20,000 euros, and due to the use of pyrotechnic devices, the MLSZ must also pay a fine of 14,500 euros (about HUF 14 million in total).
The national team, which is in third place in its group, has two more matches at the top of the Nations League this year: on November 16, it will play as a guest of the Netherlands in Amsterdam, and then three days later it will host Germany in the Puskás Arena.
