This year's public media campaign supports the Baptist Charity Service, which aims to create a new children's hospice center.

Krisztina Lehel, a mother who lost a child, and Béla Szilágyi, president of the Baptist Charity Service, also spoke about the importance of the hospice house in the Duna Család-barát program.

This year, the Baptist Charity Service is good to be good! beneficiary of a fundraising campaign. With the public media's 13th charity campaign, they support the construction of the new center of the Tábitha Children's Hospice House, which can provide free, professional care in a loving environment to terminally ill children and their families. In Duna's Család-barát program, an affected mother who lost her child shared her own story, highlighting how much support from the environment can mean in such a hopeless situation.

"In today's society, death, and especially the death of children, is a taboo subject, because it is simply not the order of life that parents bury their children. We had a difficult and painful journey, but also a very beautiful and happy one. Our little girl died at the age of two and a half, as a result of a rare and serious brain development disorder. We were expecting a healthy baby, we received the diagnosis 10 days after his birth. It was shocking to face this, in such cases external help is essential," said Krisztina Lehel, whose story may be familiar to many from the Duna Jesus and... program .

Béla Szilágyi, the president of the Baptist Charity Service, emphasized in the program that with the construction of the new institution, many more needy families will be able to receive help in the most difficult times.

"Those who know Tábitha Ház know that their child is completely safe with us, because they are excellent professionals who take care of them with great attention and love. As unimaginably painful as it is, we want to help you with end-of-life care. We try to create moments that they will be able to look back on fondly after the family is no longer complete. And as part of the relief care, we support relatives who are on duty 0-24 every day of the year"

- emphasized the president of the beneficiary foundation.

During the charity campaign, you can contribute to the success of the campaign with a HUF 300 donation by calling or sending an SMS to the phone number 1355, or by purchasing items offered by people you know. Some of the special relics will be auctioned on December 22 in the public media program, the rest will be sold at a fixed price on the campaign website.
