Voice Recording 2.0 has arrived. Video.
The leader of the Tisza Party heralded his press conference announced for Sunday afternoon as the Hungarian Watergate scandal, but what really came out was that he was trying to frame it in advance and was running ahead, making excuses for himself.
Like his ex-wife, the party chairman also gave his now ex-girlfriend a recording: at his press conference on Sunday, he presented a short audio recording of Evelin Vogel speaking, but that the material
where it was made, when it was made, who made it, in what context and for what purpose, we do not know anything about it.
The seemingly controlled recording shows that Péter Magyar could have promised money to Vogel after their personal and professional relationship had been liquidated, and indicated that he was even willing to sell his shares if necessary.
Presumably, the payment did not take place, and Hungary is now trying to frame this as blackmail.
It is not the first time that the leader of the Tisza Party has come forward with an audio recording, he started his entire political career with a secretly recorded audio recording of his wife, the former Minister of Justice.
At the one-hour long press conference, Magyar almost sickeningly repeated that the entire secret service is based on him and the members of the Tisza Party, but this topos is not new either. It is worth remembering that during his spring tour of the country, he also accused the secret service of blocking the Internet and identified security guards walking around with simple walkie-talkies as secret agents.
By the way, the president of the Tisza Party did not apologize for the second day because his ally, György Raskó, calculated the death of pensioners in a Facebook post, saying that the decline of the older generation benefits the Tisza Party, because some of the elderly are Fidesz voters.
"Evelin Vogel made audio recordings of the Péter Magyars, this is evident from the audio recordings made by Péter Magyar of Evelin Vogel."
- wrote Máté Kocsis, Fidesz faction leader, on social media, succinctly summing up the essence of the marathon press conference.
Péter Magyar is not telling the truth, he once again managed to lie a great deal
