Civil organizations can submit their applications until December 12, the maximum amount that can be claimed is HUF 4.5 million.
The so-called consolidated tender of the National Cooperation Fund (NEA) has been announced for next year with a budget of more than HUF 6.9 billion, announced the Deputy Secretary of State for Civil and Social Relations of the Prime Minister's Office on Tuesday at a press conference in Budapest.
Vince Szalay-Bobrovniczky said that
civil organizations can submit their applications until December 12, the maximum amount that can be claimed is HUF 4.5 million. He added that organizations whose annual income does not exceed HUF 75 million can apply for the support.
He also drew attention to the fact that
on Thursday, another tender of the National Cooperation Fund, the so-called simplified tender, will be announced, for which civil organizations can apply until December 13.
For this application, the amount of support that can be applied for is no more than HUF 400,000, and the annual income limit is HUF 7 million.
He noted that
this support is "almost a right of subject" to those civil organizations that meet the requirements of the tender.
The deputy state secretary said that a total of HUF 13 billion 26 million is available in the National Cooperation Fund for the two applications.
In this regard, he noted that next year's budget was slightly reduced compared to this year's. The reason for this is that more and more people are offering citizens a percentage of their personal income tax (PIT), and through the NEA grants, the unoffered percentage is being used.
According to the press release distributed on the spot
In 2023, 26 percent more people offered a percentage of their money than the previous year, which went directly to the NGOs.
According to Vince Szalay-Bobrovniczky, the detailed call for tenders is available on the civil information portal, i.e. civil.info .hu, and on the website of Bethlen Gábor Alapkezelő Zrt., bgazrt.hu .
He emphasized that
modified a simplified settlement option, it can now also be used by applicants who won a grant of up to HUF 3 million.
Previously, this limit was HUF 3 million - the deputy state secretary reminded.
Since the amount limit of the NEA's 2025 applications can be a maximum of HUF 4.5 million, virtually all applicants can benefit from the simplified accounting, he emphasized.
He also announced that
the tender opportunities are presented in the framework of a country tour, information sessions are held in all county seats.
He added that lectures are also given to civil organizations on how they can apply successfully.
He announced that a new edition of the civil handbook will be published next week, which interested parties can pick up at county locations in the country, and it will also be downloaded electronically from the civil.info.hu website.
The statement distributed at the press conference reads: according to KSH data, the amount of state subsidies flowing into the civil sector was 513 billion forints in 2022, which means that compared to 144 billion forints in 2010, it increased by more than 3.5 times.
It was also announced that associations and foundations can apply for support not only for their professional programs, but also for their operating costs in the NEA tenders, which also provides an opportunity to account for overhead costs.
