What we have been pressing for for weeks, even months, has happened and it seems that a favorable change for us is expected in the politics of the United States, since Donald Trump is the president of the USA again, and with a huge advantage. Of course, the question remains after this, what can the change mean for Hungary, and what is perhaps even more interesting now, for Germany?

Georg Spöttle, a security policy expert and employee of the Nézőpont Institute, is a dual Hungarian and German citizen, so he can view what happened in two ways and give his opinion on the situation.

It seems that German politics is very afraid. You couldn't read anything else in the mainstream press than that Donald Trump wants to abolish democracy, abolish elections, and abolish freedom of the press. They also wrote that the USA will be like North Korea, where the presidency passes from father to son, and of course the world economy will also be ruined. It was shocking to read these nonsense, they almost described Donald Trump as if he were the Antichrist. Well, these narratives have suddenly changed, Chancellor Schulz immediately congratulated Donald Trump after he was elected, because he knows that the United States is a very important partner. It is enough to look only at the automotive industry, the United States is a large market for German brands.

- I think they are afraid that President Trump - just like during his first presidency - will adhere to the "America first" principle and may even introduce protective tariffs against European products.

If you do that, the German car industry will go under. Anyway, the situation is bad, in response to the punitive duties imposed on Chinese electric cars, they did the same for foreign cars, which is a big blow to the Germans, German cars will be too expensive and the Chinese will not buy them.

If the same thing happens in the USA, it would cause huge downsizing, hundreds of thousands of unemployed and huge discontent, which the Germans fear.

– At the same time, Trump promised to create peace in Ukraine. On the other hand, the end of the war would have an impact on trade with Russia, presumably on the reduction of energy prices, access to cheaper raw materials, which would be very good for the Germans - and for us too.

It would be logical for Germany to restore its relations with the Russians, but we cannot be sure of this, since the European Union and the Germans in it are currently following a different path. Of course, it is very good news for us that Trump will become the president of the USA, because although our economic relations with the Americans have been good so far, the same could not be said from the political side. They sent an agitator, an activist, a certain David Pressman, who tried to intervene in Hungarian domestic politics in an unprecedented way. He did everything to discredit and slander Viktor Orbán, painting the image of Hungary as if the dictatorship were raging here, as if it were a banana republic. So we can hope that he won't be able to do that for a long time.

- Can the election of Trump bring about a change in the relationship between the left-liberal leadership of the European Union and Hungary?

- The fact that Hungary has a strong ally should also mean that we will be viewed differently within the European Union as well. They know that you cannot tell the American president that Orbán is a despot, that Hungary is a dictatorship, so the US government will not see our country as a quasi-enemy country, but as an equal partner and

Viktor Orbán will also have a say in the European policy of the Americans. It will be a lot of work, but we will move in a positive direction again.

- After many decades of great cooperation, I would not have thought that the Germans - and certain German politicians - would become our fierce enemies. And they became that, as both Ursula von der Leyen and Manfred Weber rudely indicated that their goal was to achieve a change of government and help an adventurer named Péter Magyar to power.

- In Weber's case, personal offense dictates. Viktor Orbán said this openly to his face in Strasbourg. He hates Hungarians because he did not become president of the European Commission because of us, even though we would have supported him. However, he himself stated that he did not want to win with the votes of the Hungarians, so he did not win. His offense is absurd, but his hatred towards the Hungarians and Viktor Orbán in particular stems from this. That's why he stands behind a narcissistic figure who eavesdropped on his own wife, who looks down on women, but posts 10-20 edited photos of himself on his Facebook page every day, he can be said to be in love with himself and unable to tell the truth. In addition, there is a criminal case against him, and Weber and Ursula support this person.

- Let's also remember that until today, he hasn't said a single word about what he would do if he came to power as a stroke of God? What would your program be? Of course, he is silent about this because he has no idea about it and is not interested in anything else, except to overthrow the government, for which he hopes the help of the people of Brussels.

It is not even worth talking about his falsified public opinion polls, because we know that he has already overtaken Fidesz, he has already defeated Fidesz, he is already the president of the United States by one hundred and twenty-three percent, and more. Meanwhile, he has no program, no representatives of his party. We don't know anything about those who are slumbering there in Brussels, only that most of them came from one of the Soros organizations. What can this man promise the voters, apart from dismantling the NER, dismantling the Orbán government? Those who stand behind such a figure have something seriously wrong with regard to political knowledge or knowledge of reality in general. It is not a program to dismantle everything, liquidate Fidesz, close down the right-wing, pro-government papers, transform the entire MTVA, and expel all Fidesz editors from there. So he promises that he will take away people's jobs, or threatens everyone with prison, calls everyone a propagandist, now ATV and Telex are also propagandists.

The president of the TISZA party lives in a very strange inner world. I am afraid of people who follow such a false prophet.

"Let's go back to Germany." A government crisis has broken out, and pre-arranged elections will probably be held in the spring at the latest. But can this bring real change for the Germans? After all, the AfD, which is growing stronger but cannot form a government on its own, is pushed out, isolated, and even wants to be banned, while the CDU and CSU are Christian-conservative in name only, but globalist in practice.

- You should know that the managers of large companies are not stupid.

They see what the trade war with China, the sanctions against Russia are doing to the German economy and they are obviously trying to influence the politicians to change. Change the narrative that Russia must be separated forever, or that China is an enemy and must be weakened economically. Because this will weaken Germany, just as the sanctions weakened Germany, not Russia. Russia was able to sell the fossil fuels freed up due to sanctions to others, and at a much higher price, so the Russian economy even got stronger. Obviously, the economic leaders realize this and they must influence the policy. If they don't want to risk millions of German jobs, then this blockage must be removed. Before them, the Hungarian economy can serve as an example of the effectiveness of pragmatic economic policy. The fact that we are open to the east, that we trade with everyone, that we have no economic enemies, only our partners and allies, brings us success. This shows that it brings economic recovery, GDP growth, and thus new jobs can be created. By the way, the change in German economic policy would be very important for us as well, since the German car industry is one of the biggest employers here in Hungary. Audi is there, Volkswagen, Mercedes, BMW are there, so Germany is a very important partner of ours, obviously jobs depend on it here as well.

This is also why we should not start an economic war and move towards a blockade, because it also endangers the jobs of Hungarian people.

If a large German company were to reduce its workforce and production capacity, Hungary would also be affected.

– I have a concern that does not follow from normality, not from understanding everyday life, but from political madness. Isn't it very difficult to turn around a faulty economic policy without admitting that we have done stupid things so far, and as long as this leading layer is in the political functions, this turn around is hard to imagine. I can't imagine, for example, that Ursula von der Leyen at the European level would say that I took this matter to the side. You shouldn't be so bad with the Russians, you shouldn't attack the Chinese because I was the stupid one. While it is not easy to believe that the German economic lobby is strong enough to fight for changes. This is also suggested by the fact that even though German car manufacturers opposed the imposition of punitive taxes on Chinese electric cars, the EU did so anyway.

Unfortunately, it really is. In this matter, the pressure from Brussels was very strong, and the pressure on Brussels from the United States was very strong, and obviously this reached the automotive industry as well. We see what this has caused at Volkswagen, for example, two factories are closed, tens of thousands of jobs - for now only in Germany - are at risk, so this is a very serious problem.

If the European Union does not think about this, if it does not change, sooner or later there will be member states that will say: maybe the British did it right, and they will also want to leave.

The danger is indeed real, even if many people do not believe it.

– We haven't talked about one thing yet, which is very important, and that is migration. Apparently, the voices change, but whether the practice changes is quite questionable. We have already experienced that when elections are approaching, it always turns out that border control needs to be tightened, that we have to choose who we let in, and then after the election is won, it somehow slips away and everything remains the same. And Germany is particularly affected by migration, and I don't see them preparing to take steps leading to real results.

Well, they're not going to. Since 2015, the borders have been completely open. Now, lo and behold, there are internal border checks in Germany, but there is a green border of thousands of kilometers, where migrants can walk freely, who will obviously not go through a highway border crossing, where they know they can expect a serious check. This is a very serious problem, so we see the weakness and indecisiveness of the European Union in this as well. Of course, they are like this in other ways, for example, since 2018 they have not been able to decide whether there should be another clock change and, if not, whether to keep winter or summer time. If they were not able to do that, we should expect them to protect our borders, to have a strong border control, so that terrorists, illegals, and economic immigrants do not come. And the German people see that social assistance for migrants is like a giant horseshoe magnet, attracting migrants. After all, even if the migrant does nothing, he still receives more than seven hundred euros a month, his apartment, clothing, and care are paid for, and he is entitled to free medical services, so he really lives like in paradise. If you come from an African country, where you have to work hard for, say, 100-200 dollars a month, here you get many times more and you don't even have to work for it, say in a mine or in the fields or in fishing.

This aid system should obviously be changed.

There have already been efforts to get them not to receive cash, but to have a migrant card similar to a bank card, with which you can buy food, but not tobacco and alcohol, but the significant cash they transfer to their bank account every month is what attracts migrants to Germany. So this also needs to be changed, because otherwise they will continue to come with all kinds of fabricated excuses, such as asking for political asylum, and if they are only here for one and a half to two years, while the eligibility of the applicants is assessed, it will already cost the taxpayers a lot of money. In addition, many people commit crimes or enter the country directly with the aim of terrorism, and we see that the crime statistics in Germany are getting worse every year.

"It's impossible not to see this situation." That is why I am surprised, and I think every Hungarian citizen besides me, that there is a successful practice here, they also know what is not good, what and how it should be changed, here is the Hungarian example, and yet they are not willing to acknowledge the facts, still they are moving forward, or should we say backwards, along a flawed, mentally ill ideology. The danger to Eurabia is increasing day by day, so I don't know if we can be optimistic.

At the present moment, we should not be optimistic, because we see that this left-liberal political force, which is actually a minority, does not take into account the decision of the majority either.

After the European Parliament elections, they voted for the presidency of the infinitely corrupt Ursula von der Leyen and the position of Manfred Weber, as if nothing had happened. They try to cover up the corruption cases there, almost everyone has already forgotten about them, only we who deal with politics on a daily basis mention them, so there are very serious problems. In relation to migration, they still insist that it is a necessary and good thing, because Europe's population is shrinking, but here too we should just copy the Hungarian example to help young families, with tax breaks and other benefits, we encourage them to want more than just one , but also to have 2-3 children. And if it works here, it will work elsewhere too, but they prefer to bring in foreign people and we see that it is in primary schools in Austria and Germany, where there are already more than 70% children with a migration background, the population is slowly being replaced. Of course, this may be the goal, then they will do it well.
