27-year-old Karoline Leavitt is not only beautiful and smart, but also tough.

A native of New Hampshire, Leavitt previously served as national press director for Trump's election campaign and predates Richard Nixon's former press secretary, Ron Ziegler.

"Karoline Leavitt did a great job as press secretary for my historic (election) campaign and I'm excited to announce that she will be the White House Press Secretary"

- said Trump in his press release issued on Friday evening.

“Karoline is a smart, tough girl and has proven to be an extremely effective communicator. I have every confidence that he will do a great job helping us deliver our messages to the American people.”

wrote the president-elect.

“Thank you, Mr. Trump, for believing in me. I am impressed and honored. Let's do MAGA! (abbreviation of the election slogan "Make America Great Again!" - ed.)"

Leavitt responded in a post on X on Friday night.

Leavitt previously served as national press director for the Republican presidential candidate's campaign. He was deputy press chief in Donald Trump's first cabinet from 2016 to 2020.

Leavitt, 27, will be the youngest White House press secretary in US history. Prior to that, Richard Nixon's press secretary, Ron Ziegler, was the youngest person to hold the position at age 29, serving from 1969 to 1974, Fox News Digital reports.
