At the plenary session in Strasbourg, the European Parliament accepted the new composition of the European Commission proposed by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, whose mandate can begin on the first of December, the EU Parliament informed on Wednesday. The Patriots faction of the EU Parliament did not support the new European Commission headed by Ursula von der Leyen with its vote, because this commission represents the same thing and behind-the-scenes pacts, and reflects all the bad decisions that have brought Europe into a crisis situation in the last five years, Gál stated Kinga, Fidesz EP representative in Strasbourg on Wednesday.
The newly composed European Commission was approved by the EU Parliament with 370 yes votes, 282 no votes and 36 abstentions. In order to elect the European Commission, a simple majority of the votes cast during roll-call voting was required, they informed.
Roberta Metsola, the President of the European Parliament, stated after the vote: the EU Parliament is ready to work together with the newly composed body in Brussels.
Patriots: The new committee confirms the same
Speaking before the plenary debate on the board of commissioners and the committee's program, the politician emphasized: " The position of the Patriots is clear, including that of the Fidesz delegation: we and the European majority that voted for us in the EU parliamentary elections want a change in European politics "
In his opinion, the current policy is leading the whole of Europe towards a bankruptcy situation, for example, in the issue of illegal migration, the centralism of the Brussels administration, and the anti-farmer " poison green " policy, and he also takes a pro-war stance.

As he said, this unacceptable agreement, which will define the next five years, still foresees illegal migration, pro-war and ideologically driven politicking, as well as the blackmailing of member states with EU funds.
Regarding the hearing of the commissioner candidates in the EU Parliament, he said: they made a political deal, they had already decided in advance which candidates they would support and which ones they would not, regardless of the candidates' professional preparation and performance.
" During the hearing of commissioner-designate Olivér Várhelyi, he testified to his professional preparation and competence, they could not get him involved, despite this, they made it clear in advance, before the hearing, that they would not let him through easily, " he recalled.
Kinga Gál emphasized: the faction of the Patriots, together with Fidesz, represents change in the EU. " It is clear that our voters everywhere want the voice of change, they want peace, an end to illegal migration, border protection, freedom from ideology in the most important issues, and the preservation of their sovereignty, " concluded the representative.
