A senior adviser to current Vice President Kamala Harris has admitted that internal polls showed Harris never led during the campaign.

In addition, this "small piece of information" was not disclosed to their supporters, even those who contributed large sums of money to the campaign.

"That's not what we were told"

Lindy Li, a member of the DNC's National Finance Committee and a fundraiser for Harris's campaign, shared with Fox News . “We were definitely told he had a chance to win - he didn't. I was even told that Pennsylvania looks good, that we will win 3-4 battleground states”

which in the end came to nothing so much that all 7 battleground states were drawn in by Trump.

While the campaign's top advisers were apparently aware of Harris ' "polling deficit ," this information appears to have been withheld from other stakeholders. According to Li "absolutely not" normal for a campaign to cover up this type of information.

“I've been doing this since I graduated college. Not [normal] at all.”

He also shared that it will take hard work to earn back the trust of donors, but occasional donors will tell Democrats from now on that he thinks

"damn it!"
