If the thirteenth monthly pension receives support in the national consultation, it will be made permanent and incorporated into the laws.
The budget for the year 2025 guarantees the payment of the thirteenth monthly pension, so everyone involved will receive it next February, stated the Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Innovation in a video uploaded to his Facebook page on Friday.
Róbert Zsigó stated: protecting pensions and pensioners is a matter of honor for the government. He reminded that this was not the case before 2010, when "the left destroyed pensioners", at that time the real value of pensions fell by 4 percent, the thirteenth monthly pension was also taken away, and utility prices skyrocketed.
"The work of the government in recent years proves that we have kept our promise to our elderly compatriots," the state secretary pointed out, adding that the government supported by Fidesz-KDNP preserved the purchase value of pensions, returned the thirteenth monthly pension taken away by the left, and defended the utility reduction .
The state secretary said: if the thirteenth monthly pension receives support in the current national consultation, it will be made permanent and incorporated into the laws.
