The world-famous American action movie star Chuck Norris and his wife encourage donations in a video message. as a participant in his campaign, so that as many as possible join him and support the Tábitha Children's Hospice House operated by the Hungarian Baptist Charity Service and the construction of a new institution - he announced on Saturday on the Facebook page of Duna television.

For the 13th time, the public media called it to be good to be good! this year, his charitable initiative is collecting funds for the construction of a new children's hospice house, unique in Central Europe.

The investment has already begun, but additional help is needed to complete it. This year, along with numerous Hungarian celebrities, Chuck Norris and his wife, Gena O'Kelley, gladly joined this goal.

One of the world's most popular action movie stars sent a video message, in which it is also said in Hungarian: It's good to be good! The 84-year-old veteran actor donated one of his iconic cowboy hats, which he often wears, to the initiative.

The item is already visible in Being good is good! side, where you can see the Herendi vase with the world star's signature.

Both items will be auctioned by the public media, which will be available for bidding on December 22, during the all-day program stream.

"Chuck Norris, whose name has become synonymous with funny phrases about his strength over the years, is also strong in charity. He has already proven several times how important social responsibility is to him as a well-known person. It supports noble and charitable initiatives all over the world, and has also helped campaigns in Hungary several times," the public media points out in its statement.

It is not the first time that the celebrity joins the Good to be good! initiative: in 2021, he offered a dedicated book in a collection organized for the benefit of the orphans of the coronavirus.

World stars such as Bud Spencer, Sarah Jessica Parker, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Jean-Paul Belmondo, Patric Duffy or Lewis Hamilton have previously joined the charity campaign.

In addition to the hat of the American karate world champion and actor, you can also bid on items from Hungarian goodwill ambassadors, such as Illés Fanni at the Paralympics and goalkeeper Dénes Dibusz, as well as offerings from other celebrities, and some special items will be featured in the live show on December 22 under".
