Around 4,200 portions of food are distributed daily at 88 locations.
The project of the Hajléktalanokért Közalaptvány "Providing food support for homeless people" started on March 1, 2024 with the support of the European Union.
The project provides homeless people with a hot meal once a day, as well as measures aimed at improving psychiatric, addiction, mental and physical conditions.
Food distribution is carried out at a total of 88 locations nationwide with the help of homeless organizations, providing homeless people with an average of 4,200 portions of food per day.
The project, which takes place within the framework of the Széchenyi plan plus program, has a planned duration of five years, and the amount of support is HUF 8.5 million, which is financed jointly by the European Social Fund Plus and the budget of Hungary.
