According to the outgoing American ambassador, Hungary is a country of Kadarian compromises, a country where kleptocracy threatens democracy and where the rule of law is suppressed by increasingly powerful propaganda.
David Pressman, who was not particularly arrested, held a farewell party, where he only allowed his propagandists and representatives of pseudo-civilian organizations, mocked as independent, to enter. In this way, he could perform his usual angry outbursts against Hungary in a narrow circle, without mentioning a word about the fact that during his stay here, he failed the exam in a diplomatic sense.
At the event, he emphasized that the festive evening
it's about celebrating diversity and honoring those who stand for the values of freedom and human dignity
