They are grateful for the reception of their persecuted politician.
As is known, the Warsaw District Court issued a European arrest warrant against former Polish Deputy Minister of Justice Marcin Romanowski, who is suspected of embezzling the funds of the Justice Fund, which operates under the ministry.
Romanowski was granted political asylum in Hungary, which was confirmed by the minister in charge of the Prime Minister's Office.

The gesture did not go without a reaction, as the editor-in-chief of the conservative Polish weekly Sieci thanked Hungary for it on his social media page in the name of "free Poles". Michal Karnowski wrote, “Thank you very much! Free Poles".
