Civil Academy: Media fog and the real face of war

2024.11.04.

Spiritual defenders of the country are warmly welcomed to the Civil Academy organized by the Civil Solidarity Forum, the Civil Solidarity Foundation and the Community of Spiritual Defenders, which will be held on November 4, 2024 in the Citizens' House. Guest Bálint Somkuti, military historian, security policy analyst, researcher at the Office for Sovereignty Protection.

Russia's war against Ukraine is just one of the events questioning international peace and security. The other thing that maintains the possibility of a bigger conflict in the Middle East is the war in Gaza. The Russo-Ukrainian war is the most serious military conflict in Europe since the Second World War. Think about it, nearly 8 million people fled their country to neighboring countries. We have to see that the West does not have the will and power, nor enough money, and therefore no real practical superiority over Russia. It soon becomes obvious to everyone that the Ukrainians have been left to their own devices. Ukraine is in the depths of the European mainland, so it is already considered a border region between Europe and Asia. And this geographical fact will serve as an important lesson for all of Europe at the end of the war. Until that happens, everyone should read the results of the US presidential election tomorrow.
