The online animal protection dialogue was a success, more than 250,000 people expressed their opinions on 13 important issues in the field of animal protection and responsible animal husbandry, Prime Minister's Acting Officer Zsolt Nyitrai said in a video published on the government's Facebook page on Wednesday.
Péter Ovádi, ministerial commissioner responsible for the renewal and implementation of the national animal protection program, listed the points of agreement in the video: broadening the neutering program, calling for responsible animal husbandry, and supporting NGOs.
The ministerial commissioner promised that the results of the online questionnaire will be integrated into the national animal protection program.
