The Democratic Party, with the agreement of the new president, Joe Biden, is again trying to pass the bill called the "Equality Act", which passed the House of Representatives once in 2019, but was rejected by the Senate. Now, in the current situation, there is a good chance that the draft will pass the Senate , and if it does, the new president will definitely sign it.
When this happens, American federal law will no longer recognize male and female biological sex , but will only treat various "sexual orientations and gender identities" as legal factors and legally protected groups.
If this bill becomes law, it will practically eliminate one of the main pillars of American culture as we know it, and it will have unforeseeable consequences:
for example, women's and men's sports will cease (this means the total end especially for the former), there will be no separate washrooms, changing rooms, etc. reserved for men and women (not even in swimming pools or schools!). In addition, the law does not discriminate against religious institutions - so it will also oblige those professing Christian communities to act in the spirit of this law in all respects, from the design of church restrooms to the content of sermons that preach on the issues of marriage, sexuality, and family. the biblical teachings and the fact that God created man "male and female".
According to critics of the draft, in addition the Equality Act severely restricts individual freedoms : for example, it interferes with how a parent can raise their child, and it can also have a serious impact on the work of doctors. The curtailment of parental rights may even result in the fact that if a "gender clinic", a doctor, or a psychologist determines that a child is "transgender", the parents are not willing to subject him to the various hormone treatments and surgical mutilations with which the "gender change ", then the authorities can even remove the child from the given family. Unfortunately, there has already been an example of this: many people are afraid that this phenomenon could even become massive, which, by definition, could affect conservative and religious families very seriously.

There are hundreds, thousands and tens of thousands of comments that demand or support the destruction, burning, or forced transformation of churches for secular purposes.
As a pastor, I experience more than once how much hatred there is on these forums against pastors and priests, whom many would gladly throw in prison or even kill.
We all have a huge responsibility in how we approach the permanent revolution of progression: benevolently watching as it slowly wins its battles until it reaches and loses us too, or prepared for the fight, knowing that there will be a fight here ?!
