Our idea was born in memory of the heroes of the 1848-49 War of Independence.
Most of the time, we only see our everyday heroes late and we fail to pay respect and express our gratitude in their lives. Now, when the pandemic attacks the lives of our compatriots and threatens the economic future of our country, we can express our gratitude in time to our scientists, doctors and nurses who are fighting on the front lines of health protection. They do not fight for their country with weapons, but they stand by the hospital beds with a heroic attitude day and night and, true to their oath, they also carry out the tasks assigned to them with a syringe. They are fighting for our freedom.
CÖF-CÖKA is asking its fellow citizens, as well as associations, foundations, and companies, to contribute with their financial donations to the erection of a memorial to our everyday heroes.
We recommend the place of the monument to be built in the XI. the garden of the district Super Hospital. Here, those recovering will be able to place their flowers as an expression of their gratitude.
