In order to get past the third stage of the epidemic, one last, big, joint effort is needed, said Gergely Gulyás Gulyás, the minister in charge of the Prime Minister's Office, at his extraordinary press conference this afternoon. This also requires the hard work of doctors and nurses, he added.

As the Prime Minister said this morning on Kossuth Radio, once 2.5 million citizens have received the vaccine, measures to ease the restrictions can come into effect. The following decisions were made based on the proposals of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the actors of economic life:
- the curfew can be extended to 10 p.m.,
- shops can be open from 5 in the morning to 10:30 in the evening
- all shops will be able to open, but to ensure there must be no more than one customer per ten square meters.
- the services will be subject to the regulations in force before March 8

The minister added: according to the current plans, the schools (kindergartens, primary and secondary schools) will open on April 19. Vaccination of teachers begins on April 1st, and I want to ensure that all teachers are protected for at least one vaccination within a week.
