"I am glad that we have friendly relations with our southern neighbor, that we are looking for opportunities to cooperate and help each other in many areas," wrote Mikulec on Facebook. He also noted that the main topic of the meeting was the coronavirus, they exchanged experiences and discussed the situation at the border and with vaccinations.

Another topic of discussion was migration. "We support the creation of a V4 expert group on readmissions." The state secretaries of the four countries agreed on the matter this week, Mikulec said. He added that he had offered the help of the Slovak police in protecting the Schengen external borders.
