On April 1, at 101 vaccination points, the extraordinary vaccination of teachers will begin, all teachers who have registered by the deadline will be in line.
Today we cross the two million mark
In these hours, we will pass the two million number of vaccinated people. This means that 20 percent of the Hungarian population is already vaccinated. According to some statistics, we are the first with this result, while according to other statistics, we are the second - said State Secretary István György.
Nearly 540,000 vaccinations were administered last week, which is a record, so many people have never been vaccinated before. The number of registered people is increasing every day, that is, a total of 3.7 million people have registered so far.
Residents of nursing homes are already protected
The effects of vaccines are already being felt in nursing homes, the number of infected people in these institutions has significantly decreased. Vaccination of school nursery workers is taking place this week, some registered teachers can already receive an SMS notification today, indicating when and where they have to register for vaccination. Vaccination will begin on April 1 at 101 vaccination points. Pfizer vaccine is provided for teachers. All teachers who have registered by the deadline will take their turn. The second round of vaccination of teachers is planned for the week after Easter.
Everyone who has successfully registered by Monday midnight will be vaccinated. In addition, they continue to vaccinate the elderly and chronically ill with the newly arrived Pfizer vaccine and the recently released Szputnyik V vaccine. Nationally, 54 registered patients of general practitioners are vaccinated per practice.
The protagonist of this year's Easter is the vaccine instead of cologne
The continuous administration of vaccinations will not be interrupted even during the Easter holidays. From the Moderna vaccine that arrived on Monday, 684,000 vaccines for the first round of vaccination and 13,200 for the second round of vaccination will be provided to general practitioners.
In recent days, half a thousand people were vaccinated on the vaccination buses of the National Guard. The buses are operated by the National Guard with professionally trained personnel. Those registered on the buses will be vaccinated in the smaller settlements. 4-5 buses available daily.
Until now, bus crews were vaccinated in small towns in Nógrád County. Vaccination buses are also dispatched to military vaccinations.

The number of recovered people is constantly increasing, currently 402,964 people, but the number of active infected people has also risen to 222,334 people. 12,553 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospitals, of which 1,529 are on ventilators. The vaccination program is going well and on schedule. The vaccination rate of the Hungarian population reached 19.7 percent, compared to the EU average of 10.6 percent.
