According to the results of a poll by the Nézőpont Institute, more than half of Hungarians believe that the currently governing coalition, Fidesz-KDNP, is capable of governing, but only 21 percent think the same about the alliance of opposition parties - Kossuth Rádió announced Good morning, Hungary! in his show.
The results of the representative research show the opinion of the two big blocs dominating the political spectrum, the Fidesz-KDNP and the left-wing coalition, a year before the parliamentary elections, said Dániel Nagy, director of public opinion research at the Nézőpont Institute.
More than half of the people associate the ability to govern with Fidesz-KDNP, but only one in five people associate it with the left. However, it is important to note that in 2019, the opposition voters also believed that Gergely Karácsony was unfit for mayor, but they still voted for him due to ideological considerations.
It can be observed that about half of the opposition voters really believe that the left will win the election in 2022. However, the other half of the opposition voters are not sure that they will go to vote, they are the ones who are dissatisfied with the work of Viktor Orbán, but cannot vote for anyone else besides the coalition from DK to Jobbik, but they are not satisfied with them either.
It is certain that many people are dissatisfied with the world before 2010, and those actors who participated in the governance then would not be welcome in the political leadership.
