The St. Thomas Aquinas Ecumenical Public Life Academy has announced its third year of training. Applications are accepted by 21-30-year-olds who wish to participate in the ten-month, unique, experience-based training until April 30.
St. Thomas Aquinas Ecumenical Academy was founded in 2018 along these values with the aim of strengthening the commitment to Christian life and patriotism in its students during its training, and to train a generation of intellectuals for the benefit of society and public life , which lives its spiritual and spiritual life with "relentless exactitude". He lives an exemplary life in his private life, in his family and in his narrower environment, and at the same time assumes responsibility for his wider environment through his social roles, and is an active shaper of the social processes taking place around him.
The experiences of the first two years of training have confirmed that the training structure, which is also unique at the international level, is excellent for creating a perfect balance between deepening, intense inner intellectual and spiritual life and active experience-making, thanks to which the students gain not only diverse knowledge and self-knowledge, but also faith and they also thrive in their relationships.
The three main pillars of the 10-month training are the ten study modules, study trips that interrupt the educational units, and residential dormitory life.
The wide-ranging training covers almost all areas of Christian spiritual, economic, social and cultural life, starting from theology, literature, cultural history and social studies to political science and media studies. At the Ecumenical Academy of Saint Thomas Aquinas, a priority is to provide students with high-quality and modern training, accordingly, the instructors are the most highly qualified lecturers and renowned professors in their profession (including, for example, Magdolna Csath, Zoltán Balog, Tamás Freund) who, in addition to the academy, work at other renowned universities and institutes they also do serious professional work.
