András Penz died because he took his own party's anti-vaccination propaganda seriously, Gábor Megadja, Századvég's leading analyst and Kontra's editor-in-chief, told Origo, adding that the death of the DK representative is weighing heavily on his party. The intellectual historian sees that the left-wing parties and the media associated with them "started to implement the new past" after what happened.
On Monday, Fidesz responded to the Facebook video of the left-wing party presidents in a statement, reminding that DK local government representative András Penz was the victim of an irresponsible campaign by left-wing parties. As is known, the politician died after he refused the Chinese vaccine following his party's communication.
According to the point of view of the larger government party, even if Ferenc Gyurcsány tries to show otherwise, the fact that the left-wing parties are currently collecting signatures against the Chinese Sinopharm and the Russian Szputnyik V is especially telling.
"A person died because he took his own party's anti-vaccination propaganda seriously," said Gábor Megadja when asked by Origo. "It is incomprehensible why this tragedy was necessary. The representative's death is drying up the soul of his party, he stated.
The leading analyst of Századvég sees that the new past has begun to take effect on the left. "The Pravdá of the Gyurcsánys, 444, has already begun to popularize the changed past, according to which the formations of the left-liberal-small-arrow alliance have always taken a position in favor of vaccination," characterized the latest communication turn of the Gyurcsánys.
In his opinion, however, this is spectacularly untrue, "there are still minor frictions with the old past", as the collection of signatures against Eastern vaccines is still ongoing. "But Új Múlt 2000 Kft. exists to smooth these out! The company is working hard on the case," he said ironically.
