206, mostly elderly, chronic patients died, and another 6,296 Hungarian citizens were diagnosed with the coronavirus, koronavirus.gov.hu reported on Sunday, highlighting that 2,835,894 people have been vaccinated in Hungary so far, of which 1,197,685 have already received the second they also received a dose of vaccine.
It was written on the government portal: the number of infected people identified in Hungary has increased to 720,164. The number of those who died rose to 23,417, and those who recovered rose to 426,394. The number of active infected people increased to 270,353. 10,484 coronavirus patients are being cared for in hospitals, of which 1,290 are on ventilators.
There are 44,370 people under official home quarantine, and the number of samples has increased to 4,934,786.
