In the reports of many Western newspapers, the authors gloat that the strong Hungarian-Polish alliance may crumble, there was also an article in which Hungary was also classified as one of the losers of the Polish elections.

It is difficult to list how many Western newspapers are celebrating the fact that there will probably be a change of government in Poland after the elections - and in almost every article they hope that this will break up the strong Hungarian-Polish alliance.

There is a high chance that Hungary will lose its most important supporter

Just a few examples: according to Bloomberg, Tusk can bring Poland back from the "dark side", which has become a "laator state" on par with Viktor Orbán's Hungary; the Financial Times writes that Poland proved that, unlike Hungary, it is a resistant democracy,

and the Guardian claimed that the ruling party was using all the “Orbán dirty tricks” to retain power.

The New York Times concluded that Poland is dismantling illiberal democracy, according to the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Hungary is becoming isolated in matters of the rule of law, and the Süddeutsche Zeitung writes that the Hungarian government is among the losers of the Polish elections.

According to Corriere della Sera, among the Italian newspapers, Viktor Orbán remained alone in the European Union, while La Repubblica and Il Figlio reported that only Viktor Orbán stood by Giorgia Meloni.
