285 people died, most of them elderly, chronically ill, and another 3,597 Hungarian citizens were diagnosed with the coronavirus - koronavirus.gov.hu announced on Wednesday, highlighting that 3,037,023 people have been vaccinated in Hungary so far, of which 1,290,709 have already received the second they also received a dose of vaccine.
It was written on the government portal: the number of infected people identified in Hungary has increased to 731,675. The number of those who died rose to 24,265, and those who recovered rose to 435,344.
The number of active infected people is 272,066. 10,364 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospitals, of which 1,204 are on ventilators.
There are 43,992 people in official home quarantine, the number of samples has increased to 5,011,794.
