A total of HUF 15,000 billion is available from the EU recovery fund and the community budget; and the national program coordinating these funds will basically focus on the development of three areas - healthcare, universities, infrastructure - stressed Gergely Gulyás, the minister in charge of the Figyelók , who explained that they are striving to reach an agreement with Brussels regarding the national program as soon as possible.
The chancellor minister also touched on the fact that the so-called social immunity is based on 60-75 percent of Hungarian society getting vaccinated. And for this, two conditions must be met: vaccine and willingness. The government has done everything to achieve the former goal, which is why in Hungary all people over the age of 18 can receive their first vaccination in May at the latest.
As for willingness to get vaccinated, more than 4.1 million out of 8 million Hungarian citizens of legal age have registered.
The reboot is continuous and gradual. By the end of May, the beginning of June, we can return to our usual life. He added: the issue of the EU vaccination certificate and the vaccine passport is nowhere to be found, meaning that it will take up to two months for a regulation of this kind to be adopted in Brussels.
