We love this Gergely because he has a heart of gold. He is very worried about the Russian opposition, Navalny. And we are very worried about Budapest.

In a Facebook post, the mayor laments the imprisonment and health of the Russian activist, and this is a very nice gesture. Totally unnecessary, but nice. His stance reminds me of a radio recording from 1953, in which it was said: "We, the young people of Díosgyőr, demand from the United States..." Presumably, the USA was frightened by this and fulfilled the demand of the young people of Díosgyőr. Or not.

Gergely Karácsony's Facebook lament is about as much this Gergő has given him a good deal. Geri is satisfied with himself, look how deeply philanthropic he is, he fulfilled his "moral obligation", he stood up for the persecuted and languishing opposition.

He may even be right, although it is strange that the otherwise insignificant opposition politician was allegedly poisoned by the Russian secret service. It is strange because Russia had no interest in this action. If I had to suspect someone, I would think primarily of "Westerners". This is a good rubber bone for them, another argument in favor of Vladimir Putin being a real dictator. Look, he even shuts down this poor poisoned person afterwards. He added why - allegedly for economic crimes - if he is Putin's opposition, he can only be innocent. (Even this is not impossible, but Karigeri is not able to judge this from the Budapest city hall. He is, on the other hand, so wise that he does.)

But whatever. Because while the mayor is worried, glued to Facebook and posting about a thousand things that don't belong to him, he somehow seems to forget that he is actually the leader of the capital. Embellished with foreign pens, I borrow the thoughts of Mindenszó.hu: what are the people of Budapest interested in?

The fact that he dismantled a third of the garbage cans in Budapest, that he did not fulfill any of his promises, that he does nothing for a greener Budapest, that the capital is decaying more and more because of him, that the dirt and filth in the capital is getting bigger and bigger, that the homeless are once again covering everything in Budapest, how it ruins Budapest's traffic!

Of course, Mr. Mayor, perhaps you should deal with these "side" issues, and only when everything is in order, Navalny or anything else can come.

But even then, I won't understand what the head of a municipality has to do with Russian domestic politics?
