176 people died, most of them elderly, chronically ill, and another 1,936 Hungarian citizens were diagnosed with the coronavirus - koronavirus.gov.hu announced on Monday, highlighting that 3,603,901 people have been vaccinated in Hungary so far, of which 1,665,067 have already received the second they also received a dose of vaccine.
It was written on the government portal: the number of infected people identified in Hungary has increased to 771,454. The number of those who died rose to 26,801, and those who recovered rose to 486,435.
The number of active infected people is 258,218. Hospitals treat 6,443 coronavirus patients, of whom 782 are on ventilators.
There are 35,472 people under official home quarantine, and the number of samples has increased to 5,297,235.
