The third wave of the coronavirus epidemic is raging in Europe, but the European left is already busy with migration. Left-liberal representatives presented a draft in the European Parliament, based on which they would regularize illegal migration with certain legal loopholes or other options.

"Liberal representatives are also advocating that in the migration reform of the European Union, more emphasis should be placed on creating legal routes for migrants. According to them, the labor market would also benefit from this," said André Palóc, Századvég's leading analyst in the M1 Unió 27 magazine.

Mariann Őry, foreign policy columnist of Magyar Hírlap, explained: "Right in the middle of the epidemic, the liberal majority of the European Commission and the European Parliament started talking about the need to legalize migration routes. According to them, the opportunity should be created so that the number of those who want to come to work in Europe can be increased as much as possible."

Due to the epidemic situation in Europe, unemployment has increased significantly, millions have lost their jobs and found themselves in a hopeless situation.

"In a situation like this, to talk that labor problems should be dealt with by increasing immigration is rather ill-timed,"
he added.

The expert drew attention to the fact that since 2015, several representatives of the European Parliament's Civil Rights, Home Affairs and Justice Committee (LIBE) have expressed their support for illegal immigration. And although he believes that there is a basis for raising labor market problems, the legalization of migration cannot be an actual solution.
