On the second Saturday of May, the ruins of the Csábrág castle in the Korpona district were illuminated. At the initiative of the civic association Sine Metu, the medieval castle ruins were decorated in the Hungarian tricolor.

As Orosz Örs explained on his social media page: "Last Saturday, on the first warm May evening, we illuminated the ruins of Csábrág Castle. The promotion was initiated by the Sine Metu team and we covered all the costs of the event. To our great joy, the Rondel Association, which takes care of the castle, said yes to the idea, so the implementation was already a joint effort."

He added that since the castle and its surroundings enjoy the highest level of natural protection, 5th degree, authorization from the specialized authorities was also necessary.

During the action on May 8, the object was illuminated with a hundred reflectors. The castle ruin, located in a wonderful natural environment, does not have an electrical network, so its power supply was provided with aggregators.

"We wanted to put a little spotlight on the location, which is 21 km as the crow flies from Ipolyság and the Hungarian-Slovak state border. On Saturday it was literally done"

- said the Slovak Hungarian politician on his social media page.

The aim of the initiative was to draw attention to the undiscovered beauty of the Csábrág castle and the need for renovation.
