61, mostly elderly, chronically ill people died, and 718 more Hungarian citizens were diagnosed with the coronavirus, koronavirus.gov.hu announced on Sunday, highlighting that 4,600,012 people have been vaccinated in Hungary so far, of which 2,701,789 have already received the second they also received a dose of vaccine.
It was written on the government portal: the number of infected people identified in Hungary has increased to 798,147. The number of those who died rose to 29,175, and those who recovered rose to 625,088.
The number of active infected people is 143,884. 2,270 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospitals, of which 261 are on ventilators.
There are 17,043 people under official home quarantine, the number of samples taken has increased to 5,638,662.
