However, Hungarians expect every prime minister to know English - the head of the Nézőpont Group pointed out in Kossuth radio's Sunday Newspaper program.

Referring to their research, Sámuel Ágoston Mráz stated that 83 percent of respondents said this, even 70 percent of government critics. The latter certainly kept in mind when formulating the general statement that Gergely Karácsony, the current mayor who started as a candidate for prime minister in the opposition primaries, "was put in an unpleasant situation in recent days, when it turned out that he does not speak English", Sámuel Ágoston Mráz opined.

He emphasized: in today's increasingly international world, prime ministers must be able to negotiate. In the past, diplomacy was "gentleman's mischief", with a lot of protocol slowness, but now it has accelerated, and anyone who cannot say a few nice words in English to his colleagues in the corridor because he has to wait for an interpreter, has a hard time asserting his country's interests.

When asked how Gergely Karácsony could be an assistant professor and a doctoral student without a language exam, Sámuel Ágoston Mráz replied: "sooner or later it will become clear that the rules are being dynamically interpreted or broken".

He believed that, despite the above, it is quite likely that Gergely Karácsony will be the winner of the primary election, which is more of an "afterword". The left-wing parties have decided who will be the candidate for prime minister, and they are only organizing a "sham contest", he said.

However, the winner of the primary election will be different from the winner: Ferenc Gyurcsány - stated Sámuel Ágoston Mráz, who says that all the primary election candidates are "playing to the score" of the former prime minister.

"It's no coincidence that many people talk about this being a Gyurcsány show," he said.

Sámuel Ágoston Mráz compared Gergely Karácsony to Péter Medgyessy, according to his words, by 2004 it was clear to everyone that the former prime minister was not a factor on the left, he did not make important decisions on his own.
