Justice Minister Judit Varga spoke in an English-language television interview about the rule of law and the left-liberal politics that use it as a weapon against us.
The minister explained that we want a Europe made up of strong, cooperating nation-states , because this is the only way Europe can be successful. Our strength is the family, therefore one of the most important goals of the government's policy is to strengthen families and encourage childbearing.
The so-called mainstream uses the mention of the rule of law to force member states to fall in line, whether it's about family, gender or migration. If we are not willing to do so, we will already be accused of not being a state of law. Judit Varga explained that these are not legal-based accusations, so a legal response cannot be given to them either. Political accusations must be answered politically. At the same time, he admits that rule of law issues should remain in the hands of lawyers and not politicians.
