The opposition - for lack of a better word - constantly mentions the "Swiss indexation" of pensions, while they should also know that it would bring savings to the budget and losses to pensioners. On the contrary, the government keeps its word and ensures that the purchase value of pensions is maintained and, if possible, increased.
In next year's budget, there will be funds for pension increases, pension premiums and the rebuilding of the 13th month pension - Mihály Varga . In his Facebook post, the Minister of Finance highlighted that in next year's budget, the government will allocate HUF 160 billion for the second phase of the 13th monthly pension.
Mihály Varga also indicated that HUF 4,163 billion would be provided for retirement benefits, while HUF 68.5 billion would be allocated to the pension premium in the 2022 budget.
