Leslie Mandoki comes from her studio in Germany with a live mini-concert in TV2's children's day charity program. In the gala show I sing to you, donations are collected for children orphaned by the coronavirus.
Leslie Mandoki offered a private concert to the highest bidder, so in June, the world star can play music in anyone's yard with famous musicians. Leslie Mandoki would like some tragically orphaned children to be invited to the private concert.
"Children are our future." - said Mándoki in an interview with Origo. "Covid caused a lot of pain in society, for families, and the whole epidemic was also a serious test of character. We faced a formidable challenge. But perhaps the children who have lost their parents feel the greatest pain. They became half-orphans or even orphans. They are at the beginning of their lives and have to grow up without a parent.
THERE WAS NO QUESTION FOR ME THAT I WOULD LIKE TO HELP THEM.
That's why I agreed to perform at the gala show. I know that material possessions will not replace the hellish pain of losing a parent, but maybe it will help the children to be educated, so that they can go to university later. We've written a song called We Say Thank You - we're going to play it. The composition has become one of the anthems of the fight against the coronavirus in Germany and the United States. In the charity show on May 30, we are preparing with a unique arrangement. The members of Mandoki Soulmates will join the production from around the world, from their own homes. Among them will be Ian Anderson, singer and flutist of Jehtro Tull, who has been playing with us for almost three decades. We will give the highest bidder a private acoustic concert in June in his garden, barn or in front of his garage.
in the "Köszönet a Hősöknek" gala show, he will also play music for nurses and health workers. "..because for me they are the real heroes. The nurses, the nurses, the hospital workers, the maintenance man, the janitor. When no one knew what we were facing, they still went, worked, cared for the sick, repaired broken machines or water pipes in the hospital.
WHEN IT WAS TURNED OUT WHAT A TERRIBLE EPIDEMIC WE ARE FACED WITH, THEY DID THEIR JOB WITH EVEN GREATER STRENGTH, INCREDIBLE, WHAT SELF-SACRIFICE, SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY, STRENGTH THEY HAVE.
HUNGARY BECAME EUROPEAN CHAMPION IN REGARDS TO TRANSFERS.
The Hungarian Prime Minister saw that it was necessary to act quickly, since people are dying, and the long-term complications of post-Covid cannot yet be known - so the goal is to make as few people sick as possible. And this can only be prevented by vaccination.
