Ninety percent of the renovation of the castle in Szatkígyós is completed, according to the plans, it will be opened to visitors in the first quarter of 2022, it was announced during a tour of the site.
Tamás Glázer , the managing director of the National Heritage Protection Development (NÖF) Nonprofit Kft., reminded that the monument will be renovated with an amount exceeding 3.23 billion forints , of which 1.7 billion are from the EU and 1.5 billion from domestic sources. The works - carried out by Modinvest Kft. - began at the end of February 2019.

Zsolt Virág said that the exhibition is entitled Wenckheim's Hospitality, visitors will feel as if they are traveling back in time, arriving at the site as a guest of the count's family.
