As of the first of June, the Companies' workforce support program will be expanded, in which all jobseekers who have been registered for at least one month can join from the summer. In the case of those newly joining, the up to now five-month support period will be extended to half a year, announced Sándor Bodó, the Secretary of State responsible for employment policy at the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM) in the ministry's announcement on Wednesday.
He added that the program has so far helped more than ten thousand people find work, and thanks to the expansion, the number of beneficiaries may even multiply.
Starting this summer, all jobseekers who have been registered for at least one month or are under the age of 25 will be able to get back to work more easily with the help of the program. In the case of full-time employment, the amount of the subsidy is half of the wage cost - that is, the gross wage and social contribution tax - per month, but no more than HUF 100,000.
Under the new conditions, employers can therefore receive a total of HUF 600,000 in support per job seeker. Employers must employ their employees under the program for at least 6 months. The employer also undertakes not to terminate the participant's employment by mutual agreement during this period. For reasons related to the operation of the company, the employment of an employee included in the program or employed in the same or similar position cannot be terminated during the period of the support, the state secretary explained.
You can always apply for the Enterprise workforce support program at the employment departments of the locally competent district offices. The detailed conditions and documentation are available on munka.hu
"Hungary also excels in improving employment indicators in international comparisons. Building on the results achieved in the last decade, we also managed to protect the jobs of Hungarian people during the virus crisis. About 4.7 million people already work in our country, which the government would increase even further with the job creation program," Sándor Bodó emphasized in the announcement.
