5 patients, mostly elderly, died, and another 156 Hungarian citizens were diagnosed with the coronavirus - koronavirus.gov.hu announced on Monday, highlighting that 5,146,949 people have been vaccinated in Hungary so far, 3,611,690 of whom have already received the second dose of the vaccine they also received it.
It was written on the government portal: the number of infected people identified in Hungary has increased to 804,538. The number of those who died rose to 29,733, and those who recovered rose to 700,236.
The number of active infected people is 74,569. 981 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospitals, 110 of them are on ventilators.
There are 9,221 people in official home quarantine, the number of samples has increased to 5,824,848.
