János Árpád Potápi with János Magyar , mayor of Lendva and Ferenc Horváth , Hungarian minority parliamentarian, chairman of the Hungarian National Community Council of Muravidék, placed a time capsule in Gyertyános (Gaberje), at the foundation stone of the gymnasium being built next to the local elementary school and kindergarten. The state secretary noted that he last visited Slovenia's Muravidék a year ago, and since then the Hungarian community has continued to grow stronger.
As elsewhere in the world or in the Carpathian Basin, the Hungarian subsidies were used here to develop and create investments, emphasized the state secretary. – The Hungarian government supports the gym under construction with HUF 350 million, which is in great demand and need.
A sedentary lifestyle poses a real threat to the health of our children, so I would like to ensure that daily physical education can be introduced in all Hungarian-language schools, just like in Hungary.
János Árpád Potápi handed over baby packages at the General Consulate of Hungary in Lendava in the early afternoon. In this regard, he highlighted: 5,500 such baby packages have been handed over in the past period, and more will be handed out throughout the Carpathian Basin and in the diaspora. "With these packages, we actually create a symbolic connection between the parents, the children and the Hungarian nation and Hungary," he said. - " Let the parents see that when a child arrives, the Hungarian government pays attention to them and takes every Hungarian into account, no matter where they live in the world. We count on all Hungarians, and they can count on us too," he said.
Ferenc Horváth thanked the Hungarian government for its support. According to his words, the dream of generations will come true with the construction of the gymnasium , the preparatory work for which will soon begin together with the municipality of Lendva.
