The current left-wing campaign against Hungary is another proof that today the left is the enemy of freedom, because instead of freedom of speech they want political correctness as defined by them, and opinion hegemony instead of opinion pluralism.,

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán pointed out in the latest, 10th part of the Szamizdat series on Thursday.

The text published by the Prime Minister's Press Office is described in its entirety:

Now European bells are ringing because of new laws that radically punish pedophiles and radically protect our children.
In vain, the movement is eternal, the new slogan is no longer "proletarians of the world unite", but "liberals of the world unite". Of course, this reinforces the Central European belief that today a liberal is actually a communist with a degree. The current left-wing campaign against Hungary is another proof that today the left is the enemy of freedom, because instead of freedom of speech they want political correctness defined by them, and instead of opinion pluralism, they want opinion hegemony for themselves.

However, the new Hungarian law does not conflict with any lofty ideals or European legislation. The new Hungarian law only clearly states that only parents can decide on the sexual education of children. School education must not conflict with the will of the parent, it can only be complementary, its form and content must be precisely defined, and it must be tied to the consent of the parents.

Parents also have the right to expect that no pornography, no self-serving sexuality, no homosexuality, and no gender-changing programs are available on platforms that our children use without restrictions. These restrictions must also be determined with surgical precision.

In Hungary, no one has a say in how adults live. According to our understanding, an adult free person should not give an account of his life before some kind of secular authority, but before the judgment seat of God, when the time comes.

Therefore, the Hungarian law does not apply to the lives and sexual habits of adults over the age of 18, nor to their own, adult publicity. Moreover, in the European context, Hungarian society is among the European nations most committed to individual freedom and tolerance. The reasons for this are rooted in our cultural traditions, Christian freedom, struggles for national freedom, and deep contempt for communism and communist arbitrariness.

Hungarian freedom means not only political freedom, freedom of choice, freedom of speech, assembly and association, but also the right to protect our families and raise our children at our own discretion. Our law is a worthy continuation of the European traditions of freedom. The debate about the future of Europe, that is, of our children, has just started. Here we are, standing in front of the debates.
