8 patients have died and another 91 Hungarian citizens have been diagnosed with the coronavirus, koronavirus.gov.hu announced on Wednesday, highlighting that 5,431,713 people have been vaccinated in Hungary so far, 4,619,877 of whom have already received the second dose of the vaccine.
The number of infected people identified in Hungary increased to 807,775.
The number of those who died rose to 29,971, and those who recovered rose to 736,387. The number of active infected people is 41,417. 241 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospitals, 32 of them are on ventilators.
There are 3,322 people in official home quarantine, the number of samples has increased to 6,073,516.
