The Flame Knights Association is advocating the establishment of a working group in Budapest in order to implement regular parking in terms of fire safety.
In the last 50 years, especially in medium-rise and high-rise residential buildings with panel construction, firefighting parade areas have been forgotten. As previously there was no requirement to indicate the parking ban, only a ban on the establishment of waiting areas, due to the growing number of cars in Budapest, the areas in front of residential buildings began to be used en masse by motorists for parking purposes in accordance with the rules of the KRESZ, and the local governments in many cases worsened the situation by creating irregular waiting areas in terms of fire protection. situation.
The existence of firefighting parade areas is extremely important for firefighting and lifesaving purposes. During urban development, fire protection cannot be relegated to the background!
The Flame Knights Association initiates the formation of a working group with the participation of the capital municipality, the capital government office, and the fire protection authority, which will review the establishment requirements for the firefighting parade area in medium-rise and high-rise residential buildings built between 1965 and 1990, the current conditions in comparison, and the how to create a parking lot and green area for houses that does not hinder the intervention of the fire brigade.
