Let's stand up for Hungarian farmers! Let's send a message to Brussels!
The National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) and the Association of Hungarian Farmers' Associations and Farmers' Cooperatives (MAGOSZ) launched an online signature collection entitled "Petition for Hungarian agriculture". Let's send as many messages to Brussels as possible! We ask everyone to support the position of the Government of Hungary, MAGOSZ and NAK with their signatures so that Hungarian farmers are not put at a competitive disadvantage and food prices do not rise!

At the end of May, negotiations on the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy were suspended in Brussels. Although the EU member states acted unitedly in the interests of their farmers this time, the left-liberal representatives of the European Parliament ignored their proposals.
The situation is acute, the stakes are high.
The question of European agriculture and thus the livelihood of many millions of people, as well as Europe's food security, is now being decided. Despite this, the bureaucrats in Brussels and the European Parliament want to define impossible requirements for farmers. The new proposals cause a significant competitive disadvantage for European, including Hungarian, farmers; they give an advantage to uncontrolled foodstuffs from outside the Union; endanger the health of citizens; would result in a significant increase in food prices.
NAK and MAGOSZ therefore call on the European Parliament not to create a competitive disadvantage for European farmers; thereby ensuring that Hungarian farmers can continue to contribute to the healthy lives of European and Hungarian people by producing high-quality food.
We can only change the situation if we all work together, supporting the national governments so that they can succeed in the common cause of the Europeans, thus the Hungarian farmers and the Hungarian people.
Let's stand up for the Hungarian farmers, let's protect the Hungarian land! Let's send a message to Brussels!
