"Two gay doctors were brutally beaten in Pécs", shouted the left-wing media 2 days ago.
All channels, news sites, etc. were full of this. All kinds of "civilians" were also heard, who of course blamed the recently adopted anti-pedophile law. According to them, homosexuals are in even greater danger because of this, they can be abused, and lo and behold, it has already happened.
The perpetrators were caught by the police in the meantime, and we can read about them in far fewer places, and even then only in terse articles with a few lines. Nothing about the details.
And since then it's been dead silent.
During the Wild Hunts, he found out that the perpetrators were Roma, and they tied up and beat up the two doctors with a blow that was common in their subculture ("Do you have a cigarette?").
The most outrageous thing about the matter is not the ethnicity of the perpetrators. They could have been Somalis, Pakistanis, Basques, or even skinheads, it doesn't matter.
What is sickening is the vile slyness of the left. That they shout the story to the world, but when a rather important detail comes out that disrupts the narrative they want to spread ("Hungarians are homophobic, gays are in danger because of the government", blah blah), they immediately shut up.
They are in big trouble. Because one victim group they cherished and used for political purposes is now guilty of another victim group they cherished and used for political purposes.
No ethnic minority has any right to abuse any sexual minority. It is important to tell the truth and at the same time express our solidarity towards the two beaten people. We call on the Hungarian left and its media, which regularly hides the reality from their supporters, to do the same.
