We need writings like this! - I said out loud to myself after reading Dániel Deme's opinion article entitled "No dilemma" on the website of Magyar Hírlap on 13.01.2022. Yes, I still think so after a week and a half. But will this smart, calm, easy-to-understand writing reach those who really need it?

I'm afraid not. Those who read the Magyar Hírlap, Magyar Nemzet opinion articles, and listen to Kossuth Rádió most likely agree with Dániel Deme, they do not need to be convinced:

"If the public opinion polls are correct, the majority of Hungarians will not go to the elections in April, but to block a kind of national and cultural annihilation that has brought the former Western democracies to the ground. There is no real dilemma here, because there are no valid alternatives, only a battle of diametrically opposed goals. There will be no competition between values in April, but only a clash between the value system and its complete absence."

I feel worried that half of the Hungarians are on this page, while the other half seem to live in a completely different world, they do not see, hear, or read any of the sensible ideas expressed on this page. On April 3, this other party will also vote, and I'm afraid the difference between the votes will be very small.

I wonder how, in today's information age, it would be possible to reach and touch the souls of the other side, so that our compatriots, who are probably in the majority of good will and feel Hungarian, realize that there is a different way of looking at and thinking than what is presented to them by the news sources they read/listen to/watch. , and maybe they would accept a smart, calm argument similar to the one mentioned above about many things. But perhaps emotions are even more important, since the vast majority will make decisions based on them. There should be some great meeting! Attila Nyerges' song "Nélküled" was a hit at the Peace March in October. But how many were there from the other camp? A poetic question, probably only a few in observer status.

There are quite a few equally uplifting, touchingly beautiful pieces of music and poetry, which have a greater impact than many writings or speeches. In 2002, Gábor Pap wrote a new verse for the Székely National Anthem:

The sky is on fire, the road of wars is resounding,

Prince Csaba gathers his camp.

The curse ends, the well is dry,

Heavenly joy burns through our hearts.

Even though you're already buzzing with hate,

The rock stops, it stops dusting,

Our prayer finds God again,

Say hello today my people, good morning!

Csilla Szabó's hauntingly beautiful song "Ha kenyérét eséd" is also like this:

But where, in what forum, and through what channels could these also be used to influence the Hungarians on the other side? This is the question I don't know the answer to.

Please, all responsible people think about this! There are only 2 months left until the truly decisive election.

If we could get to the soul of only one tenth of the other side, then we would no longer have to fear the possible victory of the anti-national rainbow laundry coalition leading to national and cultural annihilation.
