In Hungary, we believe that the right to sexually educate children belongs exclusively to the parents' house - stated Judit Varga in the latest video published on the Facebook page of the Government of Hungary.
The Minister of Justice emphasized that this is precisely why the law ensures that, in accordance with the European Charter of Fundamental Rights, parents can raise their children in accordance with their own philosophical, pedagogical and worldview beliefs, in accordance with national legislation.
"This law does not discriminate against anyone. In Hungary, all adults live as they wish. Hungary is the country of freedom," the minister emphasized, adding: if the citizens also believe that the education of our children belongs exclusively to the parents' house, they should express their opinion in the national consultation.
