Fidesz faction leader Máté Kocsis indicated on his social media page that he believes Ferenc Gyurcsány did not drive while intoxicated. He wouldn't make such a mistake. That's not what's wrong with him...

"Would Gyurcsány have driven drunk? No way, he won't make that mistake.

In the past few days, there have been reports that the fallen prime minister drank alcohol before his forum in Gyöngyös, then - according to a video testimony - he fell against the glass of a shop window, then drunkenly got into a car and drove away.

I'm sorry, but I'm not one of those who believe that Gyurcsány is driving drunk in the crossfire of the cameras, in front of the police. It is much more polished and refined than making such a blunder. Anyway, the main problem with him is not that he sometimes drinks, or that it shows. From Hungary's point of view, this is completely irrelevant.

However, it is not unimportant that he wants to return to power after committing countless government crimes. In the last 5-6 years, he has crushed the entire opposition, including those parties that gathered their voters by politicizing against him, such as Jobbik and LMP. In the meantime, he crushed his former mother party, the MSZP, and built such a brutal network that he no longer has a single rival on the left. He teases Péter Jakab, pisses off Momentum, drags Karácsony, his former government members flooded the town hall, he has the last word on every political decision, and you have to bargain with him if a leftist wants to get into the next parliament. Leuraled everything. He has once again become the unquestionable leader of the left, and he is to be reckoned with in 2022 as well.

I am quite sure that he will not risk the domestic and international (mining) work that he has done or will do in order to regain his own power for drunken driving. Yes, it would be nice if he just drank all week, but he doesn't. He is organizing, preparing to sell the country off again, pro-migrant decisions, tax increases, revenge, dragging Hungary down. That's the problem with him. That's why you have to beat him next year, and not because he drinks sometimes."
