According to Miklós Völgyesi, Baron Münchhausen's lying would be nothing compared to the fallen prime minister, who spoke at a campaign event about the 2006 siege of the MTV headquarters as a coup attempt carried out by Fidesz. We quote the details of the conversation Károly Bán had with the former criminal judge.

The leak of the Ószöd speech Ferenc Gyurcsány retired supreme court judge Miklós Völgyesi told Magyar Hírlap The criminal law expert of the Balsai Commission, which investigated the events of the fall of 2006, also claimed that the prime minister at the time decided to use the only armed force under his control, the police, to intimidate the protesting population, which is considered a terrorist act according to Hungarian law. He reported Völgyesi Gyurcsány for a terrorist act in 2011, which was accepted by the prosecutor's office, but has not yet been tried.

MH: – Classic image: the helpless, handcuffed prisoner crouches at the feet of his torturer, towering over him is the masked, helmeted, face shield, leg armor, studded boots, shield, machine gun, revolver, viper, rubber baton, gas spray giant. And he hits. It hits. He shoots a rubber bullet into his eyes from five meters away. Someone in Népszabadság wrote this about the afterlife of the speech in Ószód, about the fall of Hungary in 2006 in connection with the police terror. Do you know who it was?

"Many people wrote something similar." I don't want to guess.

MH: – Miklós Gáspár Tamás is a philosopher. He also added: dear free democrats, at least don't bring shame to the past, the present is not worth much anyway. Disband the party, leave the whole thing to hell.

– As for the SZDSZ, they left it. But the real person in charge, Ferenc Gyurcsány, remained here on the neck of the country. As a criminal law expert of the Balsai Commission, which investigated the police brutalities of 2006, on October 21, 2011, I filed a criminal report with the chief prosecutor, referring to the suspicion of a terrorist crime, against Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsány, the police leaders identified in the criminal proceedings, the field commanders and those involved in the executive staff. The law threatens the perpetrator of this non-statutory crime with life imprisonment. They accepted my complaint and transferred it to the Debrecen Military Prosecutor's Office. This is a complaint that is still alive today, as I did not receive a decision to terminate the investigation - as the complainant. In the absence of this, I could not even initiate additional private prosecution proceedings, but I would not undertake such a thing at the age of eighty-seven.

... Géza Herczeg, Éva Tersztyánszkyné Vasadi and János Zlinszky, emeritus constitutional judges, in their professional response - which they wrote in connection with the Göncöl report, which tried to spread Gyurcsány's responsibility and was commissioned by the government - referred to the fact that during the Zuschlag scandal Ferenc Gyurcsány resigned from the children's and youth and from the post of Minister of Sports, so he was not even a member of the government, so in the sense of public law, his nomination as Prime Minister is also illegitimate. And his second prime ministership was classified as semi-legitimate.

MH: – What is meant by semi-legitimacy?

- Before the 2006 elections, Gyurcsány had to report to the government of the European Union on the fulfillment of the contents of the convergence report. This was prepared by Gyurcsány, but it was a false, out-of-the-air report. The former Brussels correspondents of Magyar Nemzet, István Lovas and Endre Barcs, also reported on this. In relation to his "experiences" in Brussels, Barcs showed in a two-part article in Demokrat that Gyurcsány also wanted to defeat the European Commission and the Brussels government, but as a kind of compromise, Joaquín Almunia agreed that the Hungarian government would only implement the convergence program after the elections, 2006 submit in September.

The condition for this was that the Prime Minister himself had to inform the Hungarian public about the actual situation in the country. This pact was behind the leaking of the Öszöd speech. The socialist party program, based on false data and containing unfulfillable commitments, could not be adhered to after the elections were won. Gyurcsány misled the public opinion, the opposition parties and the president of the republic by consciously keeping the truth silent. These disinformations put Ferenc Gyurcsány's mandate as prime minister in a state of apparent legality - it was read in the criticism of emeritus constitutional judges Géza Herczeg, Éva Tersztyánszkyné Vasadi and János Zlinszky.

MH: - If I understand correctly, he also means that the Ószöd speech, contrary to what was suggested by Gyurcsány, was not leaked by Katalin (Szili), not Imre (Szekeres) or another Ferenc (Baja), as it was with society he wanted to show, but himself.

"That's exactly what it's about." This is also an important part of the tsunami of lies in Gyurcsány. Let's look at the facts. In Balatonőszöd, the government resort, where the Prime Minister delivered the infamous Ószöd speech in a closed circle, in front of his family, two copies of the audio recording were made, in very poor quality. They of Gál J. Zoltán , the prime minister's chief of staff. On September 17, it was first published in part and later in its entirety on Magyar Rádio. Coincidentally, the president of the radio station was replaced just then, and the new one, György Such, was appointed.

One of the recordings was improved by the technicians of Magyar Rádió, the tape was copied in several copies and delivered by motorcycle couriers to the editorial offices of several national media. Who made this decision? It is certain that he is not the president of Hungarian Radio, which operates under government control. He couldn't have done that without authorization. For example, how did you know that the audio recording was not manipulated? It was clear that the publication would create an almost revolutionary situation in the country. "You can demonstrate in front of the Parliament. They will get bored. They're going home," Gyurcsány alluded to in his speech. And how interesting, László Bene , who is appointed by the prime minister and therefore has to ask him for permission to travel abroad, traveled to the Interpol conference just then. All of this highlights the fact that historical science still has many tasks ahead of it in order to fully clarify the facts...

... MH: - To this day, Gyurcsány claims that he legally restored order, he talks about Fidesz provocateurs, and his wife, the DK Prime Minister candidate, reflects on the fact that more police officers were injured than protesters. What do you think about this?

- Gyurcsány went even further than that. Recently, at a campaign event in Dunaújváros, he already spoke about how the siege of the MTV headquarters in 2006 was an attempted coup, carried out by Fidesz. He had never dared to say that before. Baron Münchhausen could only be small in lying compared to Gyurcsány...

...Ferenc Gyurcsány, who replaced Prime Minister Péter Medgyessy in the position of Prime Minister in a controversial procedure, and his government and party - before the 2006 elections - deceived the electorate with false statements about the economic state of the country and about the constraints imposed by our European Union commitments, and by concealing the true data of the budget , deceived him by keeping silent.

Asserting their right to express their opinions guaranteed by the constitution, large and small crowds of people continuously gathered for weeks at the historically fixed meeting point of Kossuth Square in Budapest, voiced their opinions at legal events, called for the promises to be held and demanded the government's departure. Gyurcsány and his government initially tried to extinguish them non-violently, on March 15, 2006, for example, seeing the threat of a terrorist attack, snipers protected the Prime Minister, and the idea of a terrorist threat was raised on October 23, 2006 as well.

During the period of street demonstrations in the fall of 2006 - on October 9, 2006 - a statement was issued, according to which passive presence in illegal acts taking place in public spaces can also correspond to behavior that reinforces intent, mere presence also means psychological complicity. NBH was later forced to withdraw the disinformation announcement. The Commissioner of Civil Rights later found that the leaked news about the threat of terrorist acts had no basis. The reality is that Ferenc Gyurcsány decided to use the only armed force under his control, the police, to intimidate the protesting population, which is considered a terrorist act according to Hungarian law...
